Washnah, represented by its Environment & Sustainability Sector, is participating in the Buraydah International Dates Carnival, reaffirming its role in supporting the agricultural sector and promoting sustainable practices that contribute to protecting the Kingdom’s natural resources and agricultural wealth.

Washnah’s participation builds on its specialized experience in the prevention, detection, treatment, and control of Red Palm Weevil (RPW) infestations, through field operations aimed at limiting the spread of this pest and protecting palm trees, which represent one of the Kingdom’s most important agricultural and economic resources.

Through its participation, Washnah is showcasing its expertise and specialized solutions in integrated palm pest management, early detection of infestations, and the implementation of control and treatment procedures in accordance with approved technical practices. These efforts contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of farm protection while preserving the productivity and sustainability of palm trees.

The participation also reflects Washnah’s commitment to supporting agricultural and environmental development and raising awareness of the importance of prevention, early detection, and effective management of Red Palm Weevil infestations, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to protect natural resources and promote sustainable agriculture.
